Adolf with an 'f'...you are correct. I wont make the correction to remind myself of how ignorant my readers are for not alerting me of it before. Thanks

A few months later...I must say...I agree with bp too.

Hey GEM, welcome back! I get your point, but it is a political point of view. Naturally people will feel pride when someone like themselves succeeds. But don't forget that the black community is complex, especially when you look close at the perspectives by class/income, age and geography.
You can't argue that this isn't a great accomplishment for the US to have a black president, considering the history (only within 40-50 years) of segregation and racial tension. Consider those who grew up thinking they were second class citizens. Obama gives them hope, so a little pride is healthy.
Granted, that Obama's background and life experiences are not the norm for a majority of the black community.

Miguel...nothing is solid in life. For sure my thoughts are not controversial...simply logical.

Priud...You are right, just as a white-skinhead would be proud to see a white guy be president, you have the same right to feel similar pride. And although I understand it, I don't fully agree with it.
My point is not if we should feel pride to have a guy that looks similar to me and you as president. My point is that we should not automatically be labeled because of physical appearance. And that we should not make decisions based solely on that feeling of shallow pride.

Mother Theresa was awesome!!

Bravo, it had to be you, the one able to start a controversy about something so solid. I had to take a bow to the master of disaster. If you put your mind into it you will be able to vilify Mother Theresa.

An empty blog entry is not grounds for assertions of being "back", we the people want real posts. Not weird zombie pictures merely implying that you are "back". **Crowd boos in harmonious and uproarious unison**
