It still amazes me how so many people still do not see anything wrong with this war. The USA has completely destroyed the nation of Iraq; it has murdered hundreds of thousands of people. Today, Iraqis don’t have water, electricity, safety or a possibility of being alive the day after…things they had under Saddam Hussein. Even worse…Bush and his war have successfully expanded Al Qaeda’s base, reach and allies.
There was no connection with 911…there were no Al Qaeda in Iraq (these things were known even before the invasion). Saddam despised Al Qaeda and feared them as a force that could threaten his government. If you believe otherwise…then you are a moron and easily influenced.

I am against this war and the troops that fight in this war. Because even if I were to consider the troops as victims of the Bush Administration… I still cannot conceive their actions, individual actions, to be anything but shameful. Their mistreatment of Iraqis, regular civilians, is well documented. Were you against the Nazi war but supported the SS soldier. Were you against the ethnic cleansing by the Serbian military, but supported the Serbian soldier that carried out those orders?
The military troops, their behavior, have shamed this nation. I owe them nothing. Not one single right or freedom that we have today has been thanks to the American military. From Freedom of Speech to civil rights…nothing has been thanks to the military. All our freedoms and rights are thanks to those civilians, like you and me, that were oppressed and fought back.
Although, there is one shame even greater. That of the American people’s ignorance and apathy towards the death of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians and deaths of thousands of young American soldiers.
I could never say it as eloquently as this guy can. I do agree with him.
